Galician Octopus
Pulpo en salsa gallega, or soft octopus in Galician paprika sauce, originates from the Rias of Galicia in northern Spain.
Northwest Spain's Galician chilly coast is nutrient-rich waters that provide for excellent fishing grounds. The "Ra de Arousa", one of Spain's biggest ras (estuaries), is not far from Conservas de Cambados. They are able to utilise the freshest fish and shellfish since their facilities are so near to the places where the seafood is gathered.
